CALA Extends Scholarship Application Deadline

CALA has extended the application deadline for the John Lawrence Student Scholarship to September 14th, 2020.

Each year CALA awards up to 2 post-secondary students studying in a science discipline, with a $1,000 scholarship.  Applicants are required to submit a scientific paper demonstrating their understanding of one of the following themes:

• The Importance of Data Quality
• The Value of Accreditation
• Quality Assurance & Quality Control in Testing Measurements & Experimentation

This year CALA has extended the application deadline by one month to September 14th, 2020.  If you are a CALA Member laboratory, CALA-accredited laboratory or a laboratory where a CALA-volunteer is employed within the past 12 months, and you would like to nominate a student, please link here to find out more details.
