As the novel corona virus (COVID-19) continues to impact our communities, our employees and our customers, I wanted to personally reach out and connect with you directly.

Just like you, CALA is doing its best to navigate these uncertain times. Our top priority is the well-being of our employees, our assessors, and our customers. Following the advice of Ottawa Public Health, to limit all non-essential travel as a means of slowing the rate of COVID-19 infection, our staff are being encouraged to work from home for the foreseeable future. We will work towards minimizing disruption to our customers and developing alternate plans for any immediate needs. Our employees have access to our collaboration tools and our internal file servers through a secure VPN service. All staff have access to email and are accessible via mobile phone or voice mail. Of course, the situation is changing quickly as the local, provincial and federal governments take measures to halt the spread of COVID-19. If we think there will be any change in our ability to provide service to our customers, we will let you know immediately.

I believe that all individuals and businesses are doing their best to support each other during these difficult times. CALA will also continue to do that, adapt and move forward.  If there are any questions or concerns that we can help you with, please don't hesitate to contact us through communications@cala.ca.

Warmest regards,
