CALA Quarterly Newsletter

Good morning CALA Customer and Members,

I'm delighted to be making another contribution to the CALA newsletter since joining 4 short months ago. The focus of this issue is the impending new ISO/IEC 17025 standard.  There are a number of resources to support our accredited laboratory customers through this transition process, including training focused on the new standard and an FAQ document.  In addition, this newsletter contains our customary information on CALA activities including Proficiency Testing and an update on the Association Management System (AMS).  

I hope you enjoy the new format of the newsletter.  Our goal is to have continuous communication with our customers and partners.  The new format allows you to scroll through the various business areas and delve into those that are pertinent to you.

Ready for the transition to the new ISO/IEC 17025 standard?

CALA is committed to supporting our customers in their transition to the new ISO/IEC 17025 standard.  This newsletter has the most recent information on the status of the new standard, along with laboratory expectations and timelines in order to retain accreditation. Read internal more…

We've also included a section on supporting resources for your transition to ISO/IEC 17025.  This includes CALA Training and a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document.  The FAQ is a work in progress, so although we've published the 1st version here, keep checking our website for updated versions as we continue to make additions.

CALA Training Update

Proficiency Testing Updates

CALA's Proficiency Testing Program is happy to announce that many of the PT pricing levels will be maintained at the 2017 rates.  Some exceptions will apply.  We are also pleased to announce some potential new test groups.  You can find out the lates PT updates here.
